L4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF)
 
The Award in The Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice is the standard qualification held by educational verifiers and quality assurers.
 
Once you have completed this course, you will be able to take on educational quality assurance roles, supporting your training organisation and asesssors to undertake high-quality and fair assessments.
 
Our IQA Award is awarded by Focus Awards and is a fully Ofqual regulated qualification. People who hold this qualification include teachers, trainers, instructors, college lecturers, verifiers and IQAs.
 
To take this qualification you will need to be working in a role in which you have access to at least two vocational assessors who are each assessing at least two learners. You will also need a computer with access to the internet.
 
If you are not working in a suitable workplace and are not able to supervise assessors, you can still begin studying as a quality assurer by taking the Award in Understanding the Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice. This is the theory part of the IQA qualification, and you can go on to complete the practical modules at a later date to claim the full certificate.
