L3 Award in Education and Training (RQF)
 
The Award in Education and Training is the perfect introduction to teaching and training. It is suitable for people who are already using education and training techniques in the workplace or those who want to move their career in this direction.
 
Once you have completed this course, you will be able to take on Learning and Development roles, work as an in-company trainer, or teach government regulated qualifications in subjects that you have enough knowledge to teach.
 
Our AET is awarded by Focus Awards and is a fully Ofqual regulated qualification. People who hold this qualification include teachers, trainers, instructors, college lecturers, managers, supervisors, and workplace mentors.
 
You do not need any teaching experience to take this course. All you need is two (or more) volunteers who are willing to be taught by you in a recorded 'micro-teach' session. It's fine to recruit friends or colleagues for this exercise. You will also need a computer with access to the internet.
